Founder of the Method

Fabio Andrico

An International Main Instructor of Yantra Yoga for the International Dzogchen Community. Born and raised in Italy, he is a world-renowned expert in this ancient discipline, which was first taught in the West by Chögyal Namkhai Norbu in the early 1970s. This lineage of Yantra Yoga, known as Nyida Khajyor, traces back to the 8th-century Tibetan master and translator Vairocana. In this system, the breath is the central and most vital element, with the entire practice effectively designed and woven around the coordination of movement and breathing.

Fabio’s journey began with the study of Hatha Yoga in India, followed by a degree in Oriental Studies from the University of Naples "L'Orientale." Since the late 1970s, he has dedicated himself to the study and preservation of Yantra Yoga under the direct guidance of Chögyal Namkhai Norbu, serving as both a certified instructor and an authorized trainer responsible for supervising the training of new teachers worldwide.

For over four decades, Fabio has traveled extensively across the globe, teaching throughout Europe, Asia, Latin America, North America, and Australia. He has conducted programs at prestigious institutions such as Kripalu, Esalen, and Yoga Tree, as well as for various international yoga federations—including those of Russia and Australia, among others.

Drawing primarily from his vast experience in Yantra Yoga, where fluid breathing is essential, he developed the Respira method to help anyone rediscover a more natural and conscious way of breathing. His aim is to make these benefits accessible not only to yoga practitioners but to anyone who can benefit from improving their physical health, harmonizing their energy, and calming the mind.
